तथागत गौतम बुध्दाचा स्त्रीविषयक दृष्टीकोन

सोलापूर येथे सप्टेंबर २०१२ मध्ये दुसरे राज्यस्तरीय सत्यशोधक ओबीसी साहित्य संमेलन आयोजित करण्यात आले होते. या संमेलनात “हिंदू महिलांचे कर्मकांड की प्रगतीतील अडसर” या विषयावर झालेला परिसंवाद हा तात्विक वादविवादाने बराच रंगला होता. सदर परिसंवादात महिलांच्या अधिकार व हक्क या संदर्भात बोलताना सुनिता रेणके यांनी तथागत गौतम बुद्धाने सुध्दा महिलांना भिक्षु संघात घेण्यास विरोध करीत स्त्री-पुरुष समानता नाकारली असे म्हटले. जगातील एकमेव प्रथम पुरुष की ज्यांनी स्त्री स्वातंत्र्याचा उदघोष केला ते पुरुष म्हणजे तथागत गौतम बुध्द हे होते.

PATTALI Makkal Katchi (PMK) founder Dr S. Ramadoss is trying to shore up the party’s sliding fortunes by forming a caste-based federation against Dalits, said Thol. Thirumavalavan, Lok Sabha member and leader of the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK). In 2012, the PMK formed a nine-member front of intermediate castes, called the “All Communities’ Federation”, following its defeats in the 2009 Lok Sabha elections and the 2011 Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu.

The 27-year-old woman’s wedding was to take place on May 27 at Kottakuppam near Puducherry, 32 km from her place, and invitation letters had been sent to relatives. Her mother had thoughtfully arranged a loan and bought ten sovereigns of jewellery for Anusuya when gold prices came down in April.
